I’m from the Midwest, where “figure it out” is a personality trait and complaining doesn’t fix anything.

I moved west, met my wife, and stayed. These days I build custom homes around Seattle - the kind that don’t rely on shortcuts or good lighting to look finished.

Most of my time is spent working with my hands. The rest is spent with my beagle, who’s convinced he’s in charge and, honestly, might be.

This blog is just a place to write things down about work, discipline, and why doing things with integrity still matter.
